Snowcones

Just some pictures of the boys enjoying their favorite summer (and since we live in Florida...Spring & Fall too!) treat...Snowcones!

This is the boys playing construction site underneath the tree.  They chop up mulch, dig holes and get filthy.  Love my boys!!

Get 'em!

Caden and Savannah are 2 peas in a pod....Mike calls Caden "Savannah's Growth" because he is always attached to her and her to him.  One of their favorite games is "Get 'em"  Caden lays on the floor and Savannah attacks him.  Crawling all over him, kissing him, hitting him etc.... I don't think we will have a delicate flower on our hands!

A girl and her dog

Savannah loves all animals, but she really is best buds with Cali.  She loves handing Cali's toys to her.  Cali is so sweet and gentle with Savannah, that she takes the toy very carefully from Savannah where she would yank it from us.

Always so happy when Cali takes it!!

The "Blue Widow Spider"

The other day the boys were yelling at me from their room to come get a big spider that was on their bunk beds.  I was busy doing something so I kept saying, "just a minute" and "I'm sure it is fine" and "Caden, go get it with your bug catcher."  Finally, Cooper says "but it has an hour glass on its back, I'm scared it might be a blue widow!!"  Well, that got me in there and this is what I found:

Two little boys under their covers with a paper spider being reeled up and down on a tinker toy wheel.

So proud that they had fooled their mama....finally!  I felt bad for putting them off so long!!  They kept asking "were you scared?" "Did it make you jump?!?"

A picture of the "blue widow spider" up close.  Cooper said he knew it was a black widow, but could only find the blue crayon :)

Savannah's Dancing & First Steps

Savannah can't resist dancing to any music she hears.  When she was a little baby she would just shake her head back and forth.  Now she throws her hands up in the air too!

Savannah has been hesitant to try out walking, but suddenly today she was walking halfway across a room!  Cooper (my 6 year old videographer) recorded her walking the first few steps then the camera battery died and we missed her going across the room :(  We will just have to ignore the end where Caden accidentally stabbed her in the eye with the tinker toy weapon!  I didn't even know that's what happened until I watched the video!!
